Dear Cousins,
By all reports — another successful family reunion Peter and Anna Blencowe are getting this down to a fine art.
Over the years many family members have made the trip back to Blencow in Cumbria with quite a few enjoying the hospitality of the Tom and Barbara Fawcett at their Little Blencowe Farm B&B. Barbara was a great help to Peter when organising our 2010 reunion. She helped at our tea party even while suffering the cancer. Unfortunately, her battle with the disease was lost recently. Barbara will be sadly missed not only by her family but the whole village.
The Blencowe Families Book. This 2001 publication was sold out some time ago so if you have unwanted copies in your family, get in touch and we will be able to find a new owner. The Book is also available on CD for a fraction of the initial cost to members only..
Annual Subscriptions. For members in the UK, USA, Canada and some people in Australia and NZ it is time to renew your annual subscription. Consider a gift subscription for interested relatives. Buy the CD at the same time as you pay your subscription.
I thank all those who have contributed to this newsletter and remind readers that the November edition is traditionally difficult to fill. I would greatly appreciate a lot more contributions.
Also any offers to take over the editing position would be gratefully received.
