Mary Ann Blencowe
In the February newsletter we were Looking for descendants of: Mary Ann Blencowe (1847-1932) who married Robert Connell in South Australia in 1865 then John Emeny in Victoria in 1886. In the May edition, Barrie Robinson added more information on the family.
This time we have a new member, John Connell, great grandson of Mary Ann. He didnt find us by the last two newsletters but like many Australian Blencowes while in Britain made the trip to see Blencowe Hall. He was speaking with Mr Fawcett of Little Blencowe Farm who gave him an old newsletter. Of the 10 children our immigrant ancestors, John Blencowe and Mary Drinkwater had, 6 grew up to marry. We've now had members from each of these twigs.
